Triumph!

Joey sat down with the brothers tonight and actually ATE with them instead of complaining until they left. He had two helpings of Mac n Cheese with his new favorite Italian Seasoning. At least he is no longer obsessed with the salt! We thought getting the Pediasure drinks would fill what his bad eating habits neglected. So now when he is not eating or only picking at things, we tell him to go get his drink. Just a few hours afterward, he is asking for food and usually they are GOOD choices. I told him he could pick a hostess snack at the commissary this afternoon, and after much looking, he stepped back and said, "I don't want anything". Junk WAS offered as a treat, but he didn't want it because he had eaten 4 eggs, 3 bacon, and toast that morning for breakfast. One good thing about Joey and his finickiness, when he eats...he eats the good stuff. We have progress in school with him attending almost every lunch hour although he still leaves

early and only eats occasionally, but at home we have taken a step forward where he can eat at the table WITH his big brothers! Hooray Joey!! (Normally he has a wall up, only seldom does he take a brick out and look around at what is going on around him, but today he climbed over that wall for the full dinner hour!)
